Tiger Woods ‘Needs Help’ From Golf Influencer Paige Spiranac
Tiger Woods’ new golf league, TGL, launched its debut season earlier this month. The league, which features a state-of-the-art golf simulator, with a real putting green and multiple sand bunkers, is comprised of six teams. The league was launched by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in partnership with the PGA Tour.
So far, reviews for the league are mixed.
It’s fun to watch professional golfers in a confined setting, as fans in the crowd are able to have perfect views of every shot. But so far, it’s kind of lacking in true excitement.
Paige Spiranac can “help” that.
Outkick is coming up with an idea to let Spiranac – and other golf influencers – help TGL when it comes to providing more excitement and more of a spark.
Put Spiranac on one of the teams. Put some other top golf influencers on the other teams.
Everyone would be down to watch that, right?
Here’s the proposal from Outkick:
- Tiger immediately hires Paige Spiranac to join his team as a player.
- Each team hires an Instagram golf influencer; Put Grace Charis on a team; Claire Hogle gets a spot; Bri Teresi is brought in.
- Tiger immediately hires former Golf Channel personality Alexandra O’Laughlin to take Marty Smith’s job. He should never report from the TGL ever again. NEVER.
Spiranac teaming up with Tiger Woods on national television in a golf competition would certainly bring a whole lot of new eyeballs to TGL.
That is for sure.
Alexandra O’Laughlin could provide more eyeballs, too.

TGL is a fun idea – and it seems like it would be really fun to attend in person – but it’s true that so far, the league is lacking in headlines and sizzle.
Adding Paige Spiranac and some other golf influencers into the mix would probably help fix that – at least for now.
