Tiger Woods’ message is clear: Charlie is his own person

Tiger Woods is not a person who favors comparisons between himself and his son Charlie. The popular golfer has every right to be delighted with his son’s victory at the prestigious junior event, but Tiger has always emphasized that Charlie should build his own path, without paying too much attention to his father. However, how realistic is that?

The media follows your every step, analyzes your every move and compares you with your father from a young age. Charlie clearly needs to find a recipe for this kind of thing, but it seems that the 16-year-old knows how to resist such things.

Tiger Woods, appearing as a guest on the Bridgestone Golf podcast, once again emphasized that the public should not compare Charlie to him.

The 16-year-old jumped more than 500 spots with his victory at the AJGA tournament, climbing to 14th in the rankings.

Young Woods made many laugh after the tournament, saying: “Now I can say I have one, and Dad can’t say I don’t.”

PNC Championship

Golf fans had the opportunity to watch the teenager at the PNC Championship together with Tiger, and the last edition caused the public to be amazed, at least when it comes to Charlie. The 16-year-old made a hole-in-on.

In an interview with the media, Charli admitted that it is a massive thing to have his father by his side as a support and someone he can look up to.

The young golfer will have the chance to learn a lot from his father, but it seems that he is a person who wants to build his name independently of his father.

This is just the beginning for him, and it will be interesting to follow the path and direction his career takes. It’s hard to expect anyone to be as dominant as Tiger, and his son is no exception, but if he can be as successful as his father, there’s no doubt he can do big things in the golf scene.
