Mike and Zara Tindall’s son Lucas, 4, pulls faces and monkeys around during family day out at Cheltenham
Mike and Zara Tindall‘s children monkeyed around as they kicked off the New Year with a family day out at the races today.
Princess Anne‘s daughter, 44, brought her kids and nieces to Cheltenham for a spirited start to 2026, and it appeared to be a resolutely fun outing for her youngest son, Lucas, four.
Excited by the equestrian action, the toddler ambitiously held onto steel railing and attempted to climb glass walls while his mother and sister Lena, seven, dutifully kept him at bay.
Peter Phillips‘ daughters Savannah, 15, and Isla, 13, smiled as they took in their cousin’s silliness, joining their aunt on the festive occasion.
The duo also joined in with Mike and Zara’s eldest, Mia, 11, to watch the races, looking focused as they took in the sport.
Zara was sophisticated as ever in a checked-print coat worn over a chocolate brown dress, keeping warm with a pair of leather gloves and ankle boots.
To accessorise, the royal added a pop of colour with a bright blue headband, keeping her platinum blonde hair away from the face.
New Year’s Day is thought to be a time of fun for the whole family at Cheltenham, with not only races but fun activities including bouncy castles, ‘unicorns’, face painting and walking pet balloons on the agenda.
