Meghan Markle faced online criticism following a wardrobe malfunction at her recent Sundance Film Festival appearance.
The Duchess of Sussex accompanied Prince Harry to the second screening of Cookie Queens, a documentary they executive-produced.
For the occasion, Meghan opted for a navy blue coat paired with black trousers and a cream sweater. Her makeup was understated, featuring bronzy, natural tones, and she styled her hair in a polished ponytail.
Social media users, however, were quick to notice that her hair extensions were showing on the left side of her head.
One X user questioned: “What am I looking at here? The makeup is too dark and does not match her neck, and what is up with the back of her head?”

Before the film’s premiere on Sunday, Meghan delivered remarks expressing how she felt very “proud and privileged” to champion the project.

She said: “My husband and I and our Archewell Productions… we are so proud and privileged to be able to support and uplift Cookie Queens.
“This film, yes, is probably the cutest at the festival. But I’m also going to go out on a limb and say it is one of the most powerful and meaningful depictions of something that is an American tradition and rooted in nostalgia.”
