đ¨Â Bondi Declares âAll-Out Warâ on Terror and Narcotics as Vetting Failures Exposed
Attorney General Pam Bondi Vows to Continue National Guard Deployment Despite Judicial Interference, Citing Radicalization Crisis
WASHINGTON, D.C. â In a candid and aggressive interview this morning, Attorney General Pam Bondi unleashed a blistering critique of the previous administrationâs immigration and border security policies, arguing they directly led to a national security crisis highlighted by a recent attack on National Guard members in Washington, D.C. Bondi pledged her commitment to a relentless crackdown, stating unequivocally, âWeâre catching these people!â
The interview focused heavily on the terrifying attack on two National Guard members, reportedly perpetrated by an individual who drove cross-country and allegedly shouted a jihadist phrase before opening fire. Bondi expressed deep sympathy for the victims, particularly for one member, Andy Wolf, who remains hospitalized, stressing the need for national prayers for his recovery.
The Vetting Catastrophe: Minimal Security Screenings
Bondi immediately addressed reports that the guard shooting suspect had been âvettedâ by counterterrorism officials years prior to entering the U.S. in 2021 under the Operation Allies Welcome program. Bondi flatly rejected the notion of thorough screening under that program.

âThe one that you talked about that happened days before the Thanksgiving shooting, that one was minimal to little vetting,â Bondi asserted.
Citing direct discussions with officials, Bondi revealed a disturbing lack of basic security protocol:Â âThey did not do biometrics. They did not do social media. They did very little if minimal vetting on all of these people.â
Bondi drew a direct line from these porous procedures to the current crisis, noting the existence of a 1.5 million backlog of individuals who have entered the country without proper vetting. She claimed the suspect in the DC shooting was radicalizedâa point she vowed more information would be released onâand stated definitively that such individuals should âhave never been in our country.â
The Three-Front Fight: Terror, Narcotics, and Criminal Release
Bondi framed the administrationâs security strategy as a necessary, comprehensive fight on three distinct fronts:
Border Security and Terror:Â Bondi linked the rise in terror incidents directly to the open border policies, stating that the borders were intentionally âopenedâ by the previous administration, allowing MS-13 gang members and suspected terrorists to walk into the country. She cited the recent arrest of a top MS-13 member within the Eastern Seaboard as direct evidence of the problem.
Drug Cartels and Foreign Aggression: The Attorney General took a hard stance on foreign narco-terrorists, particularly those operating near Venezuela. She confirmed the administrationâs commitment to military action against these groups, saying, âWe are committed to taking out these narco terrorists.â Dismissing Democratic lawmakers who have questioned the legal justification for military strikes, Bondi fiercely argued that the poisonâspecifically Fentanyl being manufactured in China and flowing through Mexico and Venezuelaâis âkilling our children,â justifying a robust, aggressive response.
Catching Commuted Criminals: Bondi highlighted a proactive campaign to re-arrest dangerous criminals who were released under previous administrations. She specifically mentioned commuting individuals off death row and out of Supermax facilities, noting one violent criminal recently committed an attempted murder in Nebraska after being released. She stressed: âNo longer. Weâre catching these people. Weâre vetting these people.â
National Guard Deployment: Defying the Judiciary
The controversy surrounding the use of the National Guard in high-crime cities was another major focus. Despite a D.C. federal judge putting a temporary hold on the use of the guard, Bondi confirmed that the administration is not backing down.
âThe Guard, itâs under appeal, but our guard is still allowed to be there and functioning in DC. And in fact, weâre sending in 500 more Guard,â Bondi announced, emphasizing that deployment is up and running in both D.C. and Memphis, even while appeals temporarily pause operations in cities like Chicago and Portland.
Bondi underscored the patriotic duty of the young men and women in uniform, asserting they âwill not be attacked by a radical Islamic terroristâ and insisting that the administration will support them and their families, referencing her own planned visit with the parents of the wounded Guardsman, Andy Wolf.
Regarding the controversial military strikes near Venezuela, which have prompted bipartisan calls for the declassification of the legal justification memo, Bondi refused to confirm or deny the memoâs release. However, she issued a stern warning:Â âVenezuelan drug dealers need to tread very very carefully because if you are a narco terrorist, if you are a TDA, we are coming after you.â
The Attorney General concluded her remarks with a powerful affirmation of the administrationâs primary goal: âWe are going to protect Americans. Thatâs what this is about, protecting Americans every single day.â
