Scarlett Schremmer, the No. 2 recruit in the Class of 2025, is no longer with the Texas A&M women’s golf program. Aggies coach Gerrod Chadwell confirmed Schremmer’s departure with Golfweek.
Texas A&M won the Jim West Challenge, its third victory of the season, on Monday. Schremmer was no longer listed on the Aggies’ roster on the school’s website as of Sunday.
“I’m grateful for my time spent at Texas A&M,” Schremmer told Golfweek. “I’m focusing on my academics and continuing to develop my game. My goal to be the best golfer I can be remains the same. I’m excited for what the future holds.”
The surfer-turned-golfer was one of four highly-touted freshmen Chadwell signed in his 2025 class and played in two of the first three events this season. Schremmer tied for 23rd in her only stroke-play start in the Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach and then went 2-1 during the NB3 Match Play event earlier this month.
A&M won the season-opening Carmel Cup and followed that up with a win the next week at the Folds of Honor Collegiate in Michigan, when Schremmer wasn’t in the lineup.
