Tiger Woods ‘humiliated’ Jimmy Fallon with a video that already advertised his son Charlie Woods’ talents

Years ago, in a quiet moment during a charity golf event, Tiger Woods unknowingly gave Jimmy Fallon a front-row seat to sporting history in the making.

While Fallon was fumbling with his phone, eager to show off a video of his 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 daughter doing something silly, Tiger had other plans.

Sitting together on a golf cart, Fallon asked about Tiger’s son. Without hesitation, Woods pulled out his phone and showed Fallon a video of a toddler-Charlie Woods-swinging a plastic dog toy at a tennis ball with flawless form.

Not even out of diapers yet, Charlie had the poise and mechanics of a seasoned golfer. Fallon, stunned, admitted, “This is my daughter sucking on a lemon for the first time. I thought that would be funny.” The moment, hilarious and humbling, became a story Fallon would retell years later on The Tonight Show.

The clip wasn’t just adorable-it was a glimpse into the future. Charlie Woods wasn’t just playing around. He was already showing the raw talent that would eventually make headlines of its own.

Charlie Woods’ evolution from diapers to dominance

Fast forward to today, and Charlie Woods is more than just Tiger’s son-he’s one of the most promising junior golfers in the world.

Born in 2009, Charlie made waves in 2020 when, at just 11 years old, he became the youngest player ever to compete in the PNC Championship. It was the beginning of a tradition that brought father and son even closer.

Their bond, while loving, is deeply rooted in discipline. Tiger has famously told his son, “Don’t ever call me your friend because I’m not. I’m your dad.” Still, the duo’s connection has only deepened through their shared love of golf. In 2024, Tiger even underwent an early back surgery just to ensure he could play in the PNC Championship with Charlie-calling it one of the year’s biggest highlights.

That same year, Charlie recorded his first hole-in-one during the tournament. He’s also built a strong junior resume: winning the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Major Championship by eight strokes, and firing a 66 to capture the Last Chance Regional title in 2023. In December 2024, he beat his father over nine holes for the first time. Tiger took it in stride: “He hasn’t beaten me for 18 holes yet. But that day is coming. I’m just delaying it for as long as I can.”

The viral video Tiger showed Fallon now looks like a preview of destiny. That toddler in the clip has grown into a fierce competitor, chasing greatness while carrying one of golf’s most iconic names.
