TIGER Woods’ reason for going public with Vanessa Trump has come to light.

The golf legend, 49, shared a message with his millions of followers this weekend confirming the romance.

Woods initially wanted to keep his romance with Donald Trump Jr’s ex-wife a secret, it is claimed.

But he decided to go public because of a school Florida, the Daily Mail reported.

Woods and Trump live around 20 minutes away from each other in Palm Beach, Florida.

They both send their children to the same Benjamin School, which costs $38,595, in the region.

And the Daily Mail claim that relationship rumors quickly spread at the school.

A source said, “Benjamin is like a small community.

“There’s nothing that rich people like to do more than gossip about each other.

“Frankly, I’m surprised that it was secret for so long.”

The golf icon posted two pictures of him and his new girlfriend over the weekend.

The 47-year-old wrote the caption, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!

“We look forward to our journey through life together.

“At this time we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts.”

One photo showed the couple posing together.

Another picture saw Tiger and Vanessa laying in a hammock with the latter’s arm around his chest.

The pair were first friends before it developed into a romantic bond.

Tiger and Vanessa reportedly began seeing each other before Thanksgiving, but their relationship wasn’t public.

They were both spotted at a golf tournament last month.

Woods has just undergone surgery on his ruptured Achilles.

There are fears he might never play top-level golf again after the setback.

He has won 15 major titles, the last of which came at the Masters in 2019.
