Former Philadelphia Eagles legendĀ Jason KelceĀ opened up about what he called a āfull-blown fightā with his 6-year-old daughter, Wyatt, during their recent family trip to Walt Disney World ā and the hilarious meltdown that nearly derailed the day.
āRuins about 30 minutes of our entire day because she wanted a whole waffle,ā Jason laughed on hisĀ New HeightsĀ podcast with brotherĀ Travis Kelce.Ā āThere were four waffles and fifteen people. I gave her a piece, and she lost it. Iām like, āNope. Iām putting my foot down. Not raising some spoiled little fāā rotten child!āā
š§Ā The Great Waffle War
Jason recalled the standoff in vivid detail ā the look on Wyattās face, the tears, and the stubborn refusal to share.
Even his wifeĀ Kylie KelceĀ tried to intervene.
āKylieās like, āJust give her the waffle!ā But I stood my ground,ā he said proudly. āIām not raising spoiled kids. Sheās sharing!ā
What followed was, in Jasonās words, a āfull meltdownā ā the kind of public chaos every parent knows too well.

āWhoever was being Jack Sparrow that day, man, he was amazing,ā Jason said. āHe walks up, starts doing the pirate thing, and somehow Wyattās justā¦Ā laughing.Ā Totally saved the day.ā
From that moment on, the trip turned around ā especially when Wyatt learned there was a sweet reward waiting nearby.
āShe finds out weāre getting beignets from Princess Tianaās place and goes, āBut weāre gonna share the beignets, right?āā Jason joked. āAnd Iām like, āYup. Weāre back. Weāre fāā back.āā š©āØ
š¢Ā Dad vs. Teacups: Round Two
But the day wasnāt done testing his patience.
Jason ā always the fun dad ā decided to take his daughters on the classicĀ teacups ride, swearing it wouldnāt spin ātoo much.ā
āI told them it was chill. Then I start spinning it a little, and Wyatt starts losing her fāā mind,ā Jason said, laughing. āI tried holding it still ā still crying. But by the end? She actually liked it!ā
šĀ Parenting, Pirates, and Princesses
Despite the chaos, Jason says the trip was unforgettable ā especially watching his girls meet their favorite Disney characters.
āSeeing them meet Ariel and Pluto was the best,ā he said. āWyatt was staring at Arielās fin like, āWait, is that real?ā You could see her brain short-circuiting.ā
Kylie, ever the calm mom, kept things grounded, while Jason snuck away for a few dad moments ā including eating aĀ turkey leg during the paradeĀ with baby Finn in one arm.
āI felt like a Neanderthal,ā he admitted. āTurkey leg in one hand, baby in the other, waving at Mickey. Best day ever.ā š¦ā¤ļø
